I know, I know. Purple Cauliflower. Again. Sorry. But I think this should be the last one for a long time. Until next winter, hopefully.
Everyone was curious to know, what colour it would have when cooked. Here it is, sautéed in a little butter.

Served with some home-made, spicy beef sausages and hand-cut chips (from home-grown potatoes).

Gosh, it was good! :)

it looks absolutly delish!
That certainly isn't the colour our purple cauliflowers went after cooking - they went a really inky blue colour - not very appetising really!
Angela - thanks. It was! :)
Sue - I was hoping you'd comment, as you had mentioned before that the colour wasn't appetising. So, it does turn a different colour. Wow. Isn't that interesting?! :)
I wish I'd taken a photo now but we haven't any growing so I've missed the opportunity.
Sue - what a shame! Are you going to grow it again - or will you move on to a different variety? :)
I'm not sure - we really grew it as we were having problems growing the white varieties and the coloured ones - we grew yellow, orange and green curds too seemed easier to grow. Now though we seem to be doing OK with the white varieties. If we do though I'll take a photo of it cooked.
