A beautiful tomato.
Quite 'meaty', too.
Simply delicious.
Two mad gnomes and a big garden. The Veggie Gnome does the edible stuff, the Berry Gnome the berries and taties.

Home-made Burgers
This time we made them with Irish Soda Buns. (Not to be recommended for burgers, as they are too crumbly, and the tomato sauce softens them even further. Big mess!!)Oh oh. Tricky. How to put the second half of the bun on top, without everything collapsing?Whatever you do (mess or no mess), it's delicious and very enjoyable.

The best sweet corn ever
Even though it does not look perfect. A few gaps, small, etc. but it's our own. We grew it. Just bung it in boiling water for a minute or two.
Then a dollop of butter on the cob, let it melt, tuck in. It was incredibly sweet, tender and creamy. Not that I am biased or something. But it was the best sweet corn ever. :)

Zucchini salad with tahini dressing
Yes, it's zucchini season again! There are just soooo many ways to enjoy them.
This is a new recipe that I tried, and loved. I'll definitely make this one again very soon. It's from Hugh Fearnely-Whittingstall's new book "Veg Every Day". Just love that book.
