The fruit is fascinating - as you can see from previous pictures - and delicious. They never make it inside the house. Scoffed on the spot.
Now it is bearing fruit again and it won't take too long until we can enjoy them on the spot again.

Two mad gnomes and a big garden. The Veggie Gnome does the edible stuff, the Berry Gnome the berries and taties.

I was looking at these in a seed catalogue the other day. Will they be ready for blogfest or should i come over sooner? :-)
ReplyDeleteI doubt they'll be ready for blogfest. But I'm sure I have seeds for it - let me rummage around my seed box and I'll let you know. :)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking just like Olive!
ReplyDeletewow, i was impressed with them in the photo above, but the previous photos are amazing! so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping mine will grow just as well. I can remember seeing these in some foodie magazine, they had peeled back the dry, skeleton like outside and then dipped the berry in caramel toffee, it looked incredible.
ReplyDeleteThe photo brings back memories of raiding them from my Grandpa's garden - eactly why he'd put in the seeds.
ReplyDeleteSeveral months before they'll be so advanced over here, and then only up North.
Eat and enjoy!
Great pics and great posts. I enjoy your blog HEAPS.
ReplyDeleteThose pics remind me of eating the fruit as a kid
