Capsicums

This year we had a good, steady supply of capsicums. They are incredibly sweet and juicy. We ate them mostly raw - just cut into strips or chunks.

We have grown the carrot shaped peppers for a few years no as they do well for us - the bell peppers seem not to be as tolerant.

Wow! What a fabulous harvest you have from your garden. We have five small veggie patches as our block is only 534sqm (I don’t know how to do the little ‘2’ above the ‘m’). It has warmed up considerably here in Guernsey over the last week so we will be planting this weekend. We do have some potatoes on the hop and they are doing well. Mr Bee planted them but he forgot what varieties they are so it looks like we will be in for a nice surprise when they are ready to harvest. The apple pie looks fab, Best wishes, Gillian

Hi Gillian, good luck with your planting! Spring is such an exciting season. So much potential. :) Hope you have a great season and get to harvest heaps.
The great thing about veggie gardening is, that you don't really need a lot of space, you can have a productive patch in quite a small area.
