I had some home-made quark in the fridge that I wanted to use up. So this Bavarian recipe (from one of my favourite cookbooks, "Ein kulinarisches Rendezvous mit Bayern") came in handy. Was really delicious, but the sugar-high was incredible, as I am no longer used to sugar! - Well, maybe I should have stopped at one piece and not gobbled up more. And I'm not telling how many pieces more!
