Safflower...

...dried.
I let these flowers dry in the garden bed, for the sole purpose of getting more seeds. (To grow more safflower next season.) But now I am in a quandary. They look absolutely beautiful. How can I rip their heads apart for seeds?

  2. Thanks, Sue! I put them in a vase for the time being. There is plenty of time to get out the seeds before spring.

Graziana, that's a shame about the petals. Not sure why mine stayed intact. :)
