Snake beans

This is the first year I have grown snake beans. They took ages to start growing. But once they finally started climbing up the fence, you just couldn't stop them.

They keep on producing the most delicious beans. Will definitely save plenty of seeds to grow more of them next year.

  1. I had some snakebean seeds sent to me by Diana MKG last year but they didn't like our climate - the summer was almost non existent.

  2. What a shame! Maybe they'd have loved the greenhouse?

  3. Mine were funny this year - I thought they were more of a wet season plant, but they struggled through and now have suddenly started to grow nicely and start to produce.
