All kinds of salads and side dishes, accompaniments, main dishes, herbal concoctions, laughter.
The table ended up too small for all the bowls and platters, so we had to have a sideboard laden with dishes, too. Sorry, no picture of the sideboard.
Two mad gnomes and a big garden. The Veggie Gnome does the edible stuff, the Berry Gnome the berries and taties.

I am always happy to read your comments, dear readers. However, I am trialling 'word verification' for a little while, as I have been receiving a lot of spam. The spam never makes it onto the comment pages, as I am moderating all comments. But it is starting to get tedious to moderate all the spam. I hope this will not cause any inconvenience to any of may regular readers. Please leave a comment - I am always happy to hear from you! :)
that looks like quite a spread - did you share recipes?
ReplyDeleteWe usually do, but we were too busy eating and chatting this time. *LOL*
ReplyDeleteWe completely forgot!
A secret gnome gave me most of the recipes so in time they will be added to Gardeners Gastronomy ( link from Hills and Plains Seedsavers). Things like sweet potato veggie burgers, basil oil and yummy ginger, parsnip cake with cream cheese frosting.
ReplyDeleteI shall let you the link when I have time to type them up Gillian.
Glad to hear at least one of us was organised, Maggie!
ReplyDeleteAnd I was even too lazy to list all the dishes. So I am glad you gave everyone a glimpse of what we had. :)
I do not have the recipe for the yummy fennel, beef and pork fat sausages you made!
ReplyDeleteWow what a lovely feast. Most of our harvest will be shared with neighbours and friends since we are away in Melbourne.
