'Aaaaaaahhhh....' I saw a post like this elsewhere and they reckoned the alpacas ran out of paint half way through the job, looks like it happened here too:)
Hey, my neighbours have alpacas too! A lovely black (alpaca) one has just donated its last seasons fleece....now to repair my spinning wheel (sadly broken in the move to Tassie)
Jen, I hope you get your spinning wheel spinning soon. Alpaca wool is fantastic! My mum spun sheep wool (from our sheep) and alpaca wool (from our neighbours) together and knitted a few beaut woollies for us. It's super warm, super soft and super light!
I am always happy to read your comments, dear readers. However, I am trialling 'word verification' for a little while, as I have been receiving a lot of spam. The spam never makes it onto the comment pages, as I am moderating all comments. But it is starting to get tedious to moderate all the spam. I hope this will not cause any inconvenience to any of may regular readers. Please leave a comment - I am always happy to hear from you! :)
