Moldovan Green

One of our favourite tomatoes is this Moldovan Green.

It is an old heritage tomato. Lovely green with a slight tinge of yellow when ripe.A meaty tomato.

Lunch is ready.

    ohh yum. lily was just talking about we visited at your place and eating this tomato this morning. She wa suggesting what a great lunch it would be for school: big green tomato, basil and a bit of salt.

    Lily is a fine young lady with great taste. And so is her sister! Should I have a glut of green tomatoes coming up (not sure with this season yet) I shall give you a holler. I will certainly try to save seeds - so maybe you can grow this variety next season. :)
