Confused!
This Sunburst Cherry is flowering! The buds look great, too. Just way too early. The poor things are pretty confused - and I am not surprised, as the seasons have been rather strange/extreme.
My apple trees are flowering too and some of my plums have never ripened - just stayed hard and 1/2 red. It is a worrying trend if even the plants don't know what's going on. I have more faith in nature than I have in politicians and their stupid rules that try to stop me watering my vegetables! ps finally bottled and tried the limoncello last night - soooo good and we made 3 bottles for $24 total!!I will put a photo on the blog when I remember to photograph them in the daylight!
Hmmm....seems to be a trend. My neighbour has a flowering plum? or was it apricot? Can't remember. Poor trees. Let's hope they'll be right come spring. Glad to hear your limoncello is a success. I'm already looking forward to piccies on your blog!
I am always happy to read your comments, dear readers. However, I am trialling 'word verification' for a little while, as I have been receiving a lot of spam. The spam never makes it onto the comment pages, as I am moderating all comments. But it is starting to get tedious to moderate all the spam. I hope this will not cause any inconvenience to any of may regular readers. Please leave a comment - I am always happy to hear from you! :)
